This Monday, the sky will initially be very cloudy to overcast with still very locally thundery showers until early to mid-morning from the Chablais to the Upper Valais. Lull and return of beautiful clear skies and even partly sunny weather during the morning. Reactivation of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, first in the mountains and then over the whole canton. Peak intensity expected between 5 and 8 pm. Locally heavy rainfall, with strong gusts and even hail under the strongest thunderstorm cells.
Temperatures expected in the Rhône plain: minimum 16 to 18°, maximum 24 to 27°. In the stations around 1500m: minimum 12 to 14°, maximum 19 to 21°. On the summits: 11/17° at 2000m, 5/8° at 3000m. Isotherm of 0°: 4000 m.

Tuesday, cloudy and still some residual showers from the Chablais to the Bernese Alps at the beginning of the day, otherwise improvement and return to sunny conditions during the day. In the afternoon, again a risk of localized showers in the mountains. Summer heat: 26 to 29 degrees in the Rhone plain, 21 degrees at 1500m.
Wednesday, sunny with summer temperatures. Cumulus over the hills in the second half of the day but very limited and localized risk of showers or even thunderstorms. Up to 29 degrees in the lowlands, 21 at 1500m.
Thursday, fairly sunny with continued summer conditions. Cloudy spells from the northwest, mostly affecting the northern part of the region, but dry. Up to 28 degrees in the lowlands, 19 at 1500m.
Friday and Saturday, again sunny with moderate heat. A few cumulus clouds over the hills during the day, but dry weather. Up to 30 degrees in the Rhône plain, 21 at 1500 meters.
