Forecasts Valais

This evening and tonight, very cloudy skies and some intermittent precipitation. The limit of the snow will be between the plains in the central Valais and the upper Valais and around 1000 m altitude in the Chablais.

Tuesday, heavy skies at the start of the morning, with a few showers or sleet still possible regionally. A few sunny spells will develop later on and the weather will be dry for the most part. Risk of showers and sleet increasing overnight. Snow from 400 to 600 metres.

Temperatures forecast for the Rhône plain: lows -1 to 3°C, highs 3 to 5°C. In resorts around 1500m: lows -7 to -3°, highs -3 to -2°. On the summits: -5/-5° at 2000m, -12/-11° at 3000m. Isotherm of 0°: 1000 m.

Light breeze during the day on the Rhône plain. Moderate south-westerly wind in the high mountains.

Next few days in Valais

On Wednesday, it will be cloudy with a few showers in the morning before becoming clearer in the afternoon and even partly sunny. Temperatures cool, with highs of 3 to 5 degrees in the lowlands and -3 to -1 degrees near 1500m, with flakes often reaching the lowlands.

Thursday: some residual clouds early in the day, otherwise mostly sunny. Further increase in cloud cover towards the end of the day. Temperatures cold on the plains, milder in the mountains.

Friday, very cloudy with some rain and snow. Cool temperatures and very uncertain snowfall limits, which could be between the plains and 1000m altitude.

Saturday and Sunday, variable conditions with gradually rising temperatures.
