On Sunday, very milky skies, even almost overcast in the morning due to large quantities of Saharan sand in the atmosphere. The atmosphere will become heavier in the afternoon with the development of cumulus clouds, leading to thundery showers in the mountains and more occasionally on the Rhône plain. Precipitation is then expected in all regions during the night of Monday and may still take on a thundery character.
From Monday to Wednesday, in connection with a low-pressure system located over western France and causing humid air to flow in towards Switzerland, a tropical atmosphere is expected over the region. Some nice sunny spells, but in an atmosphere favoring cloudy developments and leading to thundery showers, both near the relief and in the lowlands. Highs of 25 to 28°.
Thursday, changeable or rather cloudy skies, showers possible in all areas. Risk of thunderstorms decreasing. Temperatures somewhat cooler, highs of 21 to 24°.
Friday, sunny interlude for the time being with some cloudy residuals hanging in the mountains. Highs of 24 to 27°.
Next weekend could be sunny and again fully summery with highs between 27 and 30°. Some thunderstorms likely, especially on Sunday.author: Nicolas Borgognon; Friday, 18. June 2021, 13 Uhr
